Spooky Party Chaos

Back to ghoul!

Update 0.91 is here with spooky thrills and party chills. Step into Spooky Scramble, a haunted school where Mr. Stumble dodges creepy lockers bursting with horrors and outruns a giant ghost on the chase.

Custom Parties just got their biggest upgrade yet. Pick your teammates, set the rules, and launch full Grand Prix tournaments where everyone plays multiple matches and the crown goes to the player with the best score.

We’re also adding the brand new Glider ability, fresh cosmetics, plus a round of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Are you ready to survive detention and rule the Grand Prix? Let’s stumble into 0.91!

New Custom Party Features

Custom Parties just got their biggest upgrade yet! We’ve added new tools, modes, and quality-of-life improvements to make playing with friends even smoother (and wilder).

What’s New

  • Game Mode Selection: Choose between
    • Classic (the usual Stumble Guys Custom Party experience)
    • Teams (a new mode, all team-based maps, but now with the freedom to actually pick your team)
    • Or the NEW Grand Prix mode.
  • Team Editing: Customize your matches by swapping players between teams and setting the team sizes you want.
  • Edit Rooms: No need to recreate a Custom Party from scratch! Hosts can now edit their rooms directly with the new Edit button.
  • Map Categories: Cleaner categories make it easier than ever to configure your party setup.
  • Favorite Maps:  Add maps to your favorites for quick and easy access every time.
  • Extras!: New feature ONLY AVAILABLE FOR CONTENT CREATORS, will allow you to add EXTRAS you have seen in the history of the game to any level in Custom Parties

With the new Edit Teams screen, hosts can now freely assign players, swap members, and set up teams exactly the way they want. No more random lineups: build your dream squad before the match begins and get ready to stumble in style.

Yep, that’s right! You asked, we listened! Custom Party now lets you mark maps as Favorites, giving you quick and easy access to the levels you love most. Build your own go-to playlist and jump into your preferred chaos without scrolling through the entire list every time.

Given its popularity, we have also decided to group all the Block Dash Levels together, as well as Legendary and Endless versions,  for extra ease of navigation and level selection.

NEW mode: GrandPrix!

It’s time to crown the ultimate champion! The brand-new Grand Prix game mode transforms Custom Parties into multi-round tournaments where consistency is key.

Instead of eliminations, every player competes in up to 10 rounds, scoring points based on performance. After each match, the lobby leaderboard updates so you can track who’s on top, and who’s plotting a comeback.

Got knocked around early? No worries: Grand Prix gives you the chance to strike back in the next round and climb your way up the rankings.
Do you have what it takes to survive the chaos, rack up the points, and claim the Grand Prix crown?

Heads up, stumblers!

Custom Party changes are rolling out step by step to make sure everything runs smooth. The rollout will last up to 2 weeks, starting in a few regions first (France, Germany, Indonesia, Brazil). Content Creators and Ambassadors will also have early access, so you’ll be seeing it in action soon!

Content Creator Exclusive: Extras in Custom Party

We’re giving our Content Creators even more tools to turn the chaos up to 11 with Extras!

We’re starting things off with 30 EXTRAS you might already recognize, pulled from iconic Collab levels, beloved classics, and even mechanics from Floor is Lava and beyond. And this is just the beginning: over time, we’ll keep expanding this wild library of chaos.

To crank things up even further, our team will also be mixing Extras and Abilities in special Events, which every now and then will be even set up in  Grand Prix mode.

Imagine a Grand Prix where everyone’s flying around with Gliders, dropping Dance Fever zones, and lobbing Crab Attacks at the same time… Pure Stumble madness!

Important: This feature is exclusive to Content Creators, so if you’re in the program, get ready to design the wildest matches ever and share the chaos with your community. Regular players will not see this configuration button in their Custom Party menus.

New Level: Spooky Scramble

Summer is out! Mr. Stumble and his crew are back, but this time the lesson plan is pure chaos. Spooky Scramble is an elimination level, in which you’ll run through a haunted academy while being chased by a giant ghostly headmaster who thinks detention should last forever.

The halls are packed with spooky surprises: skeleton arms, writhing tentacles, monsters bursting out of lockers, and atmospheric lighting that makes the whole school feel alive (and hungry). Stumblers must weave through the obstacles, dodge the monster students, and stay one step ahead of the ghoulish headmaster’s grasp.

Key Features:

  • Fixed Camera: at a 45° angle, with the ghost always looming behind you.
  • Giant Ghost: The headmaster won’t stop until you’re caught! Keep moving or face eternal detention!
  • Lockers of Horror: Troublemakers burst out at random, knocking players aside and adding unpredictable chaos.
  • Atmospheric Lighting: Shadows, flickers, and haunting glows set the perfect horror-school vibe.

New Ability: Glider

Take your stumbling to new heights with Glider, a Legendary and traversal ability that lets you soar above the chaos. Deploy your glider mid-jump, steer with smooth control, and nail clutch recoveries like never before.

What It Does

  • Deploys a glider after a jump, allowing brief gliding across the arena.
  • Exit the glide early for skill-based landings and surprise plays.

In-Game Flow

  1. Activate the ability.
  2. After a jump, your glider automatically deploys.
  3. Steer left and right with slower, smoother responsiveness.
  4. The glide ends if you land, press jump again, or run out of time.

Glider changes the way you move through the Stumbleverse. It opens up new routes, strategies, and creative shortcuts across existing levels, while also giving you the tools to pull off clutch recoveries and stylish escapes when the ground gets dangerous.

Bug fixes

We continue on polishing the game and squashing bugs to make your Stumble experience smoother and more fun. Here’s what’s been resolved in Update 0.91:

Gameplay & Levels

  • Fixed an issue where players were stuck in a match even after the opposite team disconnected in Block Dash Teams events.
  • Fixed a major FPS drop that occurred before the “Round Over/Qualified” screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the cooldown of used abilities did not reset if a player respawned before the cooldown ended.

Clubs

  • We fixed a bug where some Club mission pop-ups showed “1/1” even if you actually needed more to finish it.
  • Resolved an error popup that appeared after a Club season ended.

Stumble Workshop

  • Fixed a missing texture issue where the Floor Trap toy appeared purple.

General & Stability

  • Addressed issues affecting overall game performance, increasing stability.

To keep the Stumbleverse running smoothly, we’ve also fixed many other issues behind the scenes. While these may not be immediately visible to players, they help improve overall stability, performance, and the quality of your stumbling experience.
